Natural Features: Zurich

Zurich is a beaautiful small town located in Switzerland. Zurich has some nice natural features. At the southeast of the city, there is the Zürichsee (Zurichlake in English). This lake is very big, its length is of 41 kms from coast to coast! The boats navegate on it in summer and spring, because in autumn and winter it freezes. Zurich also has the Mont Blanc (White Mountain in English) at the northwest, in the fronteer with Germany and France. The Mont Blanc is the tallest mountain of the Alps Range. Also, the Mont Blanc is the less-affected snowmountain because of the Global Warming. That's cause of the European Union Campaign to Save the Planet (EUCSP), that expects to make the world react because of this problem. But the most impressionant natural feature of Zurich is the Richgemborght Theine (Richgemborght Glaciere in English). It is located at the top of Mont du Luze (Light Mountain in English) and it is the origin of 7 rivers: The Rhin, the Hittherhein, the Lucine, the Reichztag, the Jgerzen, the Yuksrey and the Volgher. In this glaciere, the greater and most impressive phenomenom is that in summer, the ice melts but it don't flood because the water enters to the caves making a beautiful spectacule. Finally, Zurich is a very beautiful town that is famous in all Europe for its beauty and also for the pretty natural features that surround them.
